The mission and purpose of the National Outdoor Recreation Society of America is to promote camping, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, caving, hunting, fishing, sailing, rafting, and all outdoor recreation. We emphasize a healthy respect, awareness, and appreciation of nature and, therefore, encourage minimal impact camping and the ideals of Leave-No-Trace outdoor ethics. Our goal is to instill a love of outdoors into everyone interested. Nature has a lot to offer, we are here to help everyone enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. At the NORSA website you can browse through photos of
our various expeditions, learn more about our purpose, check out member
profiles, or sign up to get more info about the NORSA. You are visitor

continues to grow, so do their plans to reach more people, host greater
events, sponsor more members, and perhaps even more amazing things to come.
One thing is certain, though, the NORSA will always exist as long as
Americans love the outdoors and continue to interact with nature.
